Interestingly, there are a couple of reasons why people either fail in this business, or, do not take the first step into it to begin with.
Firstly, one must take action.
This is a huge problem for many as unfortunately, due to the over-abundance of advertising leading people to believe otherwise - you will not get rich overnight and quit your day-job tomorrow. Sitting around in your underwear and only doing 20 minutes work each day by pressing a couple of buttons, is certainly achievable - but first you have to learn how it all works. If cut-and-paste is still beyond you, your learning curve is going to be somewhat steep before the money miraculously starts flooding the bank account.
I , unfortunately, had the misfortune of dealing with 2 of the children running the show at Creative Marketing Incentive Group Inc.
My first call was with a Mr. Shane Higgins, National Account Executive and Senior Marketing Consultant. The slight street slang, and pubescent crackle in his voice immediately indicated I was not dealing with an A, B, or even C level salesman. Shane proceeded to barrage me with strong arm tactics to try and sell his free gas vouchers. Tactics included; insulting his competitors, snide comments when pressed about the validity of his business, doling out unsolicited business advice like "you should change the name of your business," and telling his potential customers to "Fuck Off!"
I had, at last, gotten my fill of Shane Higgins. Ultimately, I decided to take the matter into my own hands and report Shane to the C.O.O of the company, whom I suspect is also the owner. Mr. Peter Albee.
Side Note - My efforts to get past the thug receptionist were many. It seems he has been well versed in handling an upset customer.
When I finally did make it to a nervous Mr. Albee, he immediately placed me on hold. I was surprised when the phone was again received by Shane. When I asked Shane why I was speaking to the person who I was trying to report, he told me I could try to call back as much as I'd like, but nobody would answer because they were "out for the day."
I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with gas voucher companies before, and let me be the first to warn you that 99.9% are scams and rip-offs.
However, of them all, I find Creative Marketing Incentive Group Inc. to be the worst.
Clearly Creative Marketing Incentive Group Inc. is a small operation run by small minded children. As a business owner myself, I would be ashamed to call Creative Marketing Incentive Group Inc. my own.
As they say...
Caveat Emptor - Buyer Beware
Making money online can be a wonderful lifestyle. No boss, work when you want and no dead-lines. Making money on the internet is unlike anything applied to offline, or bricks-and-mortar money making efforts. Having said that, it pays to be aware of the fact that making money online is not going to happen overnight. Even the fastest way to do it, will not happen without a lot of effort on anyone's part - regardless of what the internet advertising would have you believe.

I find this very interesting. I have been a CMI client for a few years and they have always been very good to me. The vouchers have never been mis-represented to me nor have they been mis-represented to anyone that has recieved them from me. I would be very interested in a dialogue regarding if this blogger has ever purchased the product or if he was just attempting to sell something himself to the company. I don't see where he was "ripped off" by CMI, but self admittedly by other companies. I see from his profile that he seems to have a lot of advice to share as well. I tend to think there is not much wrong with a business that is maybe not so formal in mannerisms and not completely scripted. America was built on individuality and I think it is not a bad thing. I would like to see his response from the reception at Bank of America or Verizon Wireless. Perhaps an auto attendant would have been better suited? I fail to see the "Making money online" connection to this matter either.
